Checking out Fishing Forums Finally Pays Off!!

My cousin lives near South Beach. Every time I visit him, I try to get him to go fishing in those little canals you see beside the road everywhere down there. I’ve never been able to convince him because he’s one of those people who believes if you’re not standing in a boat, then you aren’t fishing.
Anyway, I was checking out huntandfishfinders.com and found myself looking at the fishing videos. Now, I’ve been to a hundred fishing forums and seen thousands of people holding up a fish, but this is the first fishing forum I’ve visited that has a section of videos showing real people landing real fish. One of the videos was these 2 guys pulling peacock bass after peacock bass out of…you guessed it – those little canals you see beside the road in Miami.
After watching 40 Minutes of these guys landing bass after bass in the middle of town (I mean this literally, they parked their car in a mall parking lot and walked down the street), I was so excited I found myself wanting to run out to the shed and just ‘check’ my tackle. A couple of minutes after watching this video, I emailed the address of that fishing forum to my cousin so he could see what we’ve been missing all these years.
The bottom line: the next time I visit we’re going to try our luck in the canals. Ha! After years of begging and pleading all it took to get him to agree was sending him to huntandfishfinders.com. I’d be mad if I weren’t so excited.

It’s an odd entry, but the FORUM at Hunt and Fish Finders obviously made some kind of impact on this person. I am pretty happy to know at least SOMEONE is benefitting from reading our forum online!
