Yeah phisher23 it's great to see the CDOW have a little success in this project. Lord knows they made complete fools out of themselves with the whole green back cut throat debacle. For those of you who aren't familiar, the CDOW started an initiative to restore the green back cut throat into colorado mountain streams and lakes as it is the only native trout species to colorado. They went as far as killing off all fish in some alpine lakes and restocking with their farmed varieties. The project spent millions of dollars and about 15 years worth of work. Recently they found out the strains which they were farming were not the native species of green back cuts, rather a hybrid cross. All that work for nothing.....
