Golf course pond fishing rocks... I've caught about a 5 to 5.5lb bucket mouth out of a country club pond with a darn dip net before. It's nice to fish these areas as i'm sure they have no idea what poor lure presentation is. Drew, you keep practicing with those tame ones and you'll never have the patience to fish a "real body of water" again

At your age, pay close attention to what your doing. How are you presenting the bait to fish, and how are they reacting to your presentation styles. This is a great way to learn how to pattern fish. You have the advantage in fishing a small area with a high concentration of fish. If you can transfer what you've learned on small pond to open water (reading patterns that is), you can catch fish anywhere.
