| Gary Yamamoto Senko's Gary Yamamoto Senko's are one of my best fishing plastic choices. I like the finesse they carry and seem very good to get tight lipped bass to strike. I do however not like the price of these dudes ($7-9 for a 10 pack bag). These plastics are very soft and most times are only good for a single fish or many times, only 1 bite. The intense summer heat only compounds this problem.. I was fishing with my wife's uncle last summer and he showed me something I would like to pass along to all of you. His little secret to getting more out of his Senko's was to keep them on ice, out of the hot summer sun. This makes the initial rigging much easier, and senkos seem to last a bit longer. Sounds crazy, but give it a try....
