I agree that the senko is both a super bass lure, but the price can hurt. You can purchase the Kinami worm (make by Yamamoto) and sold at Walmart for a little less in price. Its the same worm (senko) but sold by his brother I'm told so that they can sell it to Walmart. They don't carry a big selection of colors, but do carry both 4" and 5" sizes. I've tried all the methods to keep from losing them (rubber bands, tape ), these methods do help. One thing that I find helps is using an Eagle Claw 42L offset/widebend hook. You will find that 95% of the fish are hooked in the upper jaw, giving you better control and less lose of fish. When guiding for bass it's not unusual to catch walleye and even trout on the senkos.
