| It is very normal to hunt the same spots year after year. I have learned that after one dominant buck is taken from an area, another comes in shortly after. I do most of my hunting on one quarter of land. I take a mature buck and a couple of does every year. This year there were two nice bucks taken, and i had seen two others that were bigger than one of the ones taken. Genetics has a lot to do with how many big bucks are located in one area. Land management also plays a key role in how a herd grows.
