One thing that I always bring up when someone is talking down on hunting is conservation. Most people who oppose hunting do little if anything to sustain or promote animal wellbeing or habitat. We hunters are so engaged in our beloved sport that most all of us contribute to conservation measures in one form or another. This is not only accomplished by direct participation in conservation groups, but also as a portion of all hunting related purchases generally finds it's way back into the fields. In my opinion, if you oppose hunting and the very conservation which we all support, your no more than a liberal idealist who has no clue what game management entails.
