I wonder what the main reason behind banning the sport was? Fox or predator population decline? I know several groups of people in Kansas that hunt on horseback. The barbed wire fences are bit more difficult to maneuver than hedges I would imagine

. I know some carry a short roll of carpet they throw over the fences before jumping to prevent injury. Not many foxes in our area so they chase yotes in the river bottoms. I have a hard time believing a hound could catch a coyote.
