Warm water eyes

Just wanted to pass along a tip for those hard to catch summer eyes. We've had a fantastic year catching eyes here in Colorado. Most fish we're catching are in 12-15 fow with close access to deep drops (50-75fow). Method of take has been running bottom bouncers with an inline spinner (wedding rings). If you've never used them before, check out what they look like here: Mack's Lure : : High Quality Fishing Lures and Accessories

You could probably attribute our success with these rigs as i'm sure the fish haven't seen too many rigs like this. We generally tip them with crawlers or leaches and slow troll around 1-1.5mph or just fast enough to keep weight bouncing off bottom. Haven't caught anything over 22 inches yet, but enough to have several big fish fries .
