Hello all,
my name is Jeremy, and I am writing to see if anyone knows of a place that helps out troubled men. I am 30 years old, and am now living with my parents. I am not violent or anything, but I have had my troubles with alcohol abuse. I currently do not have a driver's license, but I will get it back soon. My main problem is that I am not growing spiritually, and depression is taking over. I have a degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University, but lost my job due to a DUI arrest. I need to be around other men that have went through what I am going through, but heres the dilemma. I have found places that take in men such as myself to fellowship & grow in Christ, and also be accountable for each other. The problem is that I have a 1-year-old lab that is my life, and I cannot imagine spending even a week without training & playing with her. I just thought I would write to see if anyone knew of a place that I could turn to.
