If you read my reply about the 7 mag you would note the end statement was a joke!!!! It doesn't take a masters in physics to know that gravity takes affect immediately!!!! BTW the 140gr NP chrono'd at 2945....and I have never lost a deer...ever...in 35+ years of deer hunting....and that probably is close to 200 deer. Thanx Dana
