Certainly that would be what fits youbest, where you hunt What deer are you hunting, White tail,Blacktail? I 've used A Rem.700ADL in.308 win since 1985,but here in Kentucky I rarely shoot over 75-100Yds. I do believe one can go too large for deer, They aren ot that hard to kill. With something you can shoot well and good shot placement, there are many good rifles and cartridges out there.
Thats a tricky question. You could get 100's of correct answers. Good post, should draw fire from every where.
