I own lots of guns. My deer rifle has more notches than most. Many more,
in fact. And I voted for Obama. So that's my answer.
Everyone here is all in favor of gun control. It's just a matter of where
you draw the line....well, maybe there are some nut cases here who want
to buy rocket propelled grenades at the hardware store. But nut cases
don't count.
Should crime soaked cities be able to ban hand guns?
Maybe not. But they should be able to ban concealed weapons,
and register and license all hand guns
in a manner similar to drivers licenses. That might not accomplish
much. But there is no argument against it. Not that holds any water.
Rednecks can blather all they want about gun rights. But the cities are
a mess. And there are way too many guns in the wrong hands. How to
solve that problem isn't clear. But ignoring problems doesn't solve them.
Yankee ingenuity often does. So start thinking and stop complaining. |
