I'm not sure if you are totally right? The wildlife dep. is doing all they can to help with the growth of the quail population. There is also an organization called quail unlimited. They specialize in the growth and habitat of Quail. If that isn't enough you can always resort to pen raised birds. I have never hunted them myself but know several people who have, and they said that it was great for their dogs and was also very intertaining. |
