| Quail population in Southwest Ks is off the hook this year. I don't believe i've seen this good of numbers EVER. The relatively mild winter last year, appropriate hatch conditions, and bird carry-over must have all been optimal. It seems the CRP program in this area has done wonders for the quail population. |
