Fishing Lake Arcadia in Edmond tomorrow

with my wife's cousin's husband. He's signed up here but I can never remember his username. dnmelchert I think.

Anyway, we fished Lake Arbuckle Thursday and struck out. It was 87 degrees and a cold front was coming in the next 36 hours or so and we thought we'd have a good opportunity to haul in some nice bass.

That was not the case however. The lake was down about 4.5 feet and the water temperature was around 49.5 degrees. The warmest water we found was 53 degrees but most of the water was below 50.

We ought to fare better on Arcadia. Plus, it's only about a 15 minute drive as opposed to the 2 hour drive to Arbuckle.

The water temperature at Arcadia was 53 degrees on the last fishing report I read...about a week ago...and we've had several 70 plus degree days and one or two in the 80's here.

I know Dave has had some good success fishing Arcadia in the past and catching some five pound plus bass.

I've never really fished Arcadia but I figure we will fare a lot better than we did last week. Plus, the saugeye and walleye are spawning according to a fishing report I read. I'd be happy to catch a nice 'eye or two.
