| "Best Smallmouth" Where is the best place to catch a monster smallmouth. Would like to get your opinion on this and maybe take a trip. The smallmouth in Oklahoma are getting larger. The state record was broken last year and several nice smallmouth were caught. __________________________________________________ ____________ oucorry: The absolute, #1 smallmouth fishery in the central U.S. is Dale Hollow, Celina, TN. on the Ky/Tn stateline. Lake Champlain - Lake Erie are a couple of other great lakes for smallies, but if you want the chance to tangle with fish in the 8-10 lb. class it's Dale Hollow. JF
