| What's the weirdest way you've caught a bass? I was just wondering, what is the weirdest way you've caught a bass? I caught a four ponder once using a bobber and a piece of bread. I've also caught one on a little two-inch crappie tube. Thanks erik |

  | I've caught lots of bass using crappie jigs. I've caught a few bass on live worms, which is unusual. The wierdest way I've ever caught a bass would probably be when I hooked one in the tail with a spinner bait. It was foul hooked bigtime. I have no idea how in the heck I hooked/landed that thing, but I did. My uncle has a farm pond in Northern Oklahoma and it was so overstocked with bass we used to catch them on a bobber and a plain shiny hook. You could catch a fish with EVERY CAST. Since it was overstocked, their growth was pretty much stunted. I never caught a bass in there over 2 pounds, but as a little kid, I didn't care. It was so easy!
