Tourney Fees and Format:
Early Bird Sign Ups: Each team that signs up and pays for the entire trail $225 (big fish not included) by June 13th. will lock in their take off position for the entire trail and be eligible for a guided trip for up to 4 people brought to you by guidedfishingusa.com. Take off positions for the Early Bird sign ups will be established through a drawing, to be held June 14th at the launch. All boats which sign up for an individual tourney will follow in sign up order.
$75 per boat (Per Tourney)($10 per entry will go to Anglers of the year Award)

80% Payback - 100% BIG FISH Payback
PAYMENT MADE THE DAY OF TOURNEY MUST BE CASH!

Location and Boundaries: Rock River- Rockton Dam to Fordam Dam and Pecatonica River to HWY 75 Bridge.

Launch / Weigh-In: Sportscore, Rockford, IL.

Late Registration: 5:00 am to 5:30 am date of tournament. Subject to $20 Late Fee.

Pre-launch Meeting at 6:30 am:
At least 1 (one) angler from each team is required to attend. We will discuss rules of tournament and payout structure. A pre-launch inspection of all boats will take place at this time as well. All livewells will be checked prior to take off. All state laws will apply to all boats and fishing regulations.

Time of Take Off: 7:00 a.m.
All Boats will take off in order of received and PAID entries!!!
All Boats must be in water by 6:30 a.m.

Weigh-In: 3:30 p.m. (All boats must be at the dock and report to the tournament official) Absolutely no late weigh-ins will take place. If you are late to the weigh-in you will be disqualified from the tournament. No Exceptions. Any dead fish brought to weigh-in will be penalized half the weight of that fish. Total weight of 6 legal largemouth or small mouth basswuill be calculated. Fish will be released to the water following weigh-in.

ONLY ARTIFICIAL BAITS MAY BE USED. NO LIVE BAIT OR PREPARED BAIT WILL BE PERMITTED WITH THE ACCEPTION OF PORK STRIPS, RINDS ETC...ONLY ONE ROD MAY BE USED AT ONE TIME, HOWEVER OTHERS MAY BE RIGGED AND READY.
ALL STATE LAWS REGARDING SIZE LIMIT, CARE OF FISH, OPERATION OF BOATS, or ANY LAWS PERTAINING TO THE BOATS AND/OR ANGLERS WILL BE ENFORCED.

Angler of the Year Award
Each team Will identify a Captain. The Captain will earn the points from each Tournament. Points will be awarded, starting with 200 for 1st place, descending in one point increments, example, 2nd place, 199, 3rd place, 198, etc., etc.. If a team catches no fish 25 show points will be awarded. The team with the highest point total, after all 3 tournaments, will receive 80% of the Anglers Fund. The team that has the next highest points, will receive the balance of the fund. Points will not be transferable to another team, if a situation arises, and the captain will not be able to fish, his team can still earn the points, as long as his partner, has fished with him, in a qualifying tournament, in that year. In case of a tie for the Anglers of the Year Award and Money the tie will be broken by a the biggest fish weighed in on the final tourney day by either team.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY
A. Contestants acknowledge that they are participating voluntarily in the RockfordFishing.com Bass Trail. Contestants agree to assume all risks or injury, death, damages, theft and loss to personal property, which may result from their participation in the RockfordFishing.com Bass Trail. Contestants recognize that loss of property, injury, or death could arise from the fishing and boats activities contemplated by the tournament and the risk normally encountered in open water fishing from a boat maybe enhanced exposure to the elements and other risk inherent in outdoor competition. Contestants warrant that they in good physical and mental health and physically capable of with standing the rigors and requirements of professional fishing competition.
B. If Requested, Verification of liability insurance must be presented. Contestants maintain a minimum of $100,000 of liability insurance on the boat used in this tournament.

Cancellation and Refunds
A refund will only be made if proper notification is made to RockfordFishing.com up to 2 weeks Prior to the tournaments date. A $50.00 cancellation charge will apply. The refund check will be made Out to both parties. Entry to a tournament can be transferred to the next event with 48 hours notice.
