Bait is said to be plentiful behind the damn catching enough shad in one throw to last all day. To much bait to compete with behind the damn to fish but fish with a drop weight on bottom and then take up six feet of slack, while fishing infront of the gates has prooved to be sucsessful for the last two weeks. Some walleye have even weighed up to six pounds. Good luck and keep fishing
