Biggest Bass you've ever caught?

It was definetly the weather on our second trip!! With fisherman of our skill there is no other explanation

I have changed my thinking too on keeping one that big, plus the replicas are just as good as the real thing!

I think we should plan a trip, like old times. Sleep in the back of the truck and everything!

I believe my days fo sleeping in the back of the truck are done, maybe. Plus now I have too big of a boat we'll be running all over the lake instead of fishing like we used to!!

I'm pretty sure we took some, but that was 10 years ago. No idea where they'd be...I'd love to see them myself.

Here is a picture from Mexico around 1973... Camping beside the road that the lake covered. Fishing out of a canoe.

Now it's 2008.... a nice lodge with clean soft beds and hot showers.... Excelent food with Margaritas and beer included. An excelent guide and a new bass boat.

Camping?????

dang man, you knew how to fish in 1973! What happened? You only caught five this time!

(my wife asked me, what are you smiling about over there! I told her I was smiling at a picture this guy posted from 35 years ago of all these fish he caught, and I'm giving him a hard time cause he hired a guide and went back with his son but only caught 5. She doesn't get it)

Those places in Mexico have 5-Star service. They can really take care of their clients. On that trip 35 years ago, about the largest fish we caught was 5 pounds, (Lake Gurera) but there were a ton of them. And we were fishing from a canoe.

I've had days like that at Lake Huites too. I remember one afternoon where Keith and I made 50 casts and landed 50, 5 pound fish. We couldn't figure out what happened at Baccarac on this last trip ..... no little fish at all. The week, shoots, for over a month before we got there every one was catching lots of fish every day..

Oh, I posted the "Mexico Bass Report"

I guess I should look on the bright side... My friend Keith has made 16 trips to Mexico and about that many to Lake Fork.... His largest bass is 9 3/4 pounds from the Fork. He's still trying.......

My biggest bass was 7 pounds and was caught near Copperopolis California about half a lifetine ago...
