I put in for an out of state Elk Tag in New Mexico along with D Winkler and Lex Luthor.

We'll have to wait until June to find out if we were drawn.

I feel like a little kid in October already counting the days to Christmas.

I sure hope we get drawn because I really need to harvest an Elk. After getting skunked last season in New Mexico I have had the bug to get back at it.

There are only about 10 out of state elk tags for the units we applied for so the odds of us Elk Hunting this season, at least in New Mexico are pretty slim. If we don't get drawn I think we may buy an over the counter Elk tag in Colorado.
