[birdman]

Last year while elk hunting in Colorado, we ran into several groups of birds while on the trail. The darn things might as well have been dinner for us because they weren’t the least bit scared as we walked up on them. They just scurried ahead of us on the trail like no big deal. We saw several guys carrying in recurve / long bows and I imagine they were for this exact purpose. This would definitely add another dimension to ones elk hunt. I’ll plan on carrying one in the future…
