Hello there,

I just joined this board and would like to say hello to everyone. I run a outfitter company in Northwest Texas that focuses mostly on wing shooting. We are getting ready for the Dove season opener on Sept 1st and are excited to start off another hunting season....

Welcome aboard, just wondering about your dove hunts, do you use decoys and//or a mojo dove? If so, how successful are they?

Nothing better than that highly anticipated day of September 1st. It kinda sucks the opener's on a Monday this year.

Do you guys guide for snows or canada's for your goose hunts?

thanks guys..

Yes On the MOJO's Big time, We have been sponsored by MOJO outdoors for several years now. Just check out my site and the MOJO DOVE page.. They work great, we currently like THE MOJO WANG THANG best of all.... pictured bottom..

For Guided Goose Hunts, we hunt mainly Lesser Canadians and Sand Hill Cranes...

Dogman, I think you better add some of the Wang Thang's to your collection. You can do a side by side validation trial for effectiveness. Of course when they're swarming like mosquitos, you'll need to put down your gun and focus on which model attracts better .

Cuz, when shooting cranes, do you generally pass shoot or catch em in the feed fields? Do they decoy?

I've shot at a few cranes in the Texas Panhandle in an impromptu (sp?) attempt to get under them feeding. We were S.E. of Guymon, Oklahoma about 35 miles or so. I think it would be a hoot to do it right.
