I went yesterday for pheasants, saw quite a few, but overall a disappointing day. Surprisingly warm, and VERY windy made for some tough shooting, doesn't help when you can't even hear when birds flush.

Where abouts do you hunt around Wakita? I used to hunt up there quite a bit when I was in college. Seemed those days it saw very heavy pressure for no more birds that are in the area.

bout halfway between medford and wakita. i was very surprised in the number of birds. we hunted from 9:30AM to 3:00 PM and killed 18 birds between the 9 of us(2 were rookies that couldnt and didnt hit ****).
