| Administrator  | Offseason dog workouts?? For those of you that have hunting companions, what is your offseason routine or workout for keeping your dogs in shape and on game? I personally try to get my dog out at least a couple times a month to work out in the off-season. I know this isn't probably enough, but I do what I can do... I have trouble in the warmer months for obvious reasons, but during these times, I at least work rubber bumpers in water for the guy. I usually just spend time throwing and/or hiding scented dummies in grass. What is your routine??

| Re: Offseason dog workouts?? We have some acreage so finding a spot to work them is not a big deal. We normally work with the dummies and do some shooting while fetching. We do not have water, so if we want to do that we have to drive down to the lake. |
