| How are YOU going to do it? Well after all the exuberating of the new world record Blue Cat and to all of our disappointment that it died. What are some of your ideas in keeping a fish like that alive? Just because you took pictures and released him immediately doesn't mean he's going to live one minute longer than if was put on a fish truck for shipping to Cabalas or any other place. The first thing I noticed in the story was 40 min fight to landing time---that stresses the hell out of any fish and makes them much more susceptible to shock. Granted you can’t always get a quick catch, but you can up your equipment to just short of winches and hopefully lessen that time. He did however have a huge live well on his boat, something most of us don't so with that alone, it showed his commandment to his sport and that fish. What's your opinion, what else could he have done? It's your turn. Thanks Issac |
