| Administrator | I agree with the others, the most productive time for me has been 10:00-2:00. As far as water temp goes, don't really think it matters. I know the most successful times in the year for big fish on lake Texhoma is February/March.

| Administrator | oklahoma The old timers in Oklahoma always say that the best time to fish for cats is right before wheat harvest. I think the best time for me is when it gets hot enough for me to get in the water and hand fish. This is the easiest way to catch big fish, and allows for a greate time spent with friends and family. It is also a good time to have a few beers, although it's not necessary, but seems to help first time fishermen. ![]() |
