What best time for catfishing?

I want to know what time is better for catfishing, morning or night? And does differ from morning to night?
Thanks
Elliot

I always have done well at night just after 12. As far as the temperature goes, I've never been when its cold outside. I guess I'm a big Ninny

I agree with the others, the most productive time for me has been 10:00-2:00. As far as water temp goes, don't really think it matters. I know the most successful times in the year for big fish on lake Texhoma is February/March.

The old timers in Oklahoma always say that the best time to fish for cats is right before wheat harvest. I think the best time for me is when it gets hot enough for me to get in the water and hand fish. This is the easiest way to catch big fish, and allows for a greate time spent with friends and family. It is also a good time to have a few beers, although it's not necessary, but seems to help first time fishermen.

Dude, you've got to pencil me in for my first "noodle" outing. I'm sure i'll need a few adult beverages to ease the nerves . You say wheat harvest time, I say clear your calendar.

Hell no I haven't done it.

You won't catch me noodling for catfish anytime soon.

Hand fishing is not on my "Bucket List".

I did tell him today that I'd go along to videotape the action.
