| Mounting your catfish I know we all practice C.P.R., but what about that one fish we want to keep? My girlfriends first big cat (18#, second place at tournament for woman’s big fish) my daughters first big cat (22# flathead off livers at Lake Anna) these fish have meaning and heart behind them; I turned them loose but wished I had something other than a photo for the memories. I have been looking for just such an answer to the question, How to catch and land a trophy catfish and release it unharmed but still have it on the wall in my den. The answer is "Kings Sailfish Mounts" this place will take a photo and the measurements and give you a trophy to hang on the wall, all the time the big brute is still swimming and making babies for us to enjoy again. They do very detailed work and many of the pro's in offshore bill fishing use them check out the world record mount of the blue marlin, or any one of the other mounts he does. Here is the link. http://www.kingsailfishmounts.com/index.html I know we try to be the best anglers we can and return to Mother Nature a little of what she gives us, but this way we can return it all and still keep the bragging rights or just look and see the memories in our minds. Thanks Zackery |
