Wrist straps for bows

Just saying hi all. I'm a new member. Got one question. Is a wrist strap for your bow worth having.

Depends on the shooter. If you grab at your bow to keep it from falling out of you hand after a shot (thereby hampering your follow-through and potentially your shot), I would recommend one. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it.

I highly recommend a strap. If you shoot with an open hand (like you should) you don't have to think about or worry about where the bow goes after the shot. I think if you try the strap for a day or two, you will like it.

I also think it is a good idea since 90% of the time you are hunting with a bow it is in a tree stand.
