Your favorite Type of Hunting?

Well, I'm headed to Southwest Kansas this weekend to go deer hunting. I was thinking about it and am curious to everyone's favorite type of hunting. Spot and stalk, tree stand, ground blind, any other.

Where we hunt it is all farmland and you can see for miles. We don't live in the area so pretty much spot and stalk every year. I love the hunts and have crawled on my hands and knees for half a mile or more several times. Its always fun and I get really close to deer but would also love to do it other ways.

begging your wife for forgiveness does not count as hunting.

Why don't you turds take a video camera with you this time and get us some good video and pictures instead of sending me some crappy camera phone picture of the trophy mule deer you will kill just minutes apart from each other like you do every year.

If we took a camera we wouldn't see a thing. You could come with us on Friday and be the camera man.

dude I'm booked. I'd love to go with you guys though. Kids have too much going on this weekend. Plus, we're gonna be up there the next weekend anyway to do Christmas with your parents.

Anything else I can do for you while I'm at it. I guess when you're used to shooting big ass deer all the time you just don't think to bring a camera.

DANG! I kind of feel left out as an outsider and newby on this forum. As to the style I prefer,NOTHING comes close in satisfaction to still hunting/stalking in woods for deer with bow.

Sorry, he's my brother in law. Don't feel left out, I'm sure we'll pick on you the first chance we get!

I should at least respond to the thread I guess.

I wouldn't say I have a preference. Anything successful. I know that if I go Elk Hunting again next year, my favorite method will be whichever method bags me an elk. I'm leaning to sitting in the exact same spot for every second of daylight during every day of the trip. That way, every time I leave and come back and I won't have to cry myself to sleep seeing that a bull elk had passed by since the last time I was there this morning, or whenever. I swear it's like the Elk were stalking me...just out of sight.
