How do you evaluate scrapes and how do you use them in your game plans? Do you find them effective or productive when planning your strategy?

I personally use them to determine movement patterns and determine at what stage the rut is in. It's also nice to visualize just how big of a buck could be thrashing around your area.

I don't really use them for much. Just when, and that there have been deer in that area.

I know where we hunt there is always a doe that scrapes right underneath my stand, but i have never seen a buck or doe come and check it!!

A Lot Of Times Big Bucks Dont Come In They Will Be Down Wind And Check The Scrape .i Hunt Them Alot Some Big Boys May Only Hit Once A Week .
