I've been looking for quite some time to add a 28 guage to my collection. This gun will be used primarily for dove and quail. I definately want an over/under or side by side. I recently found a good price on a red label on gunbroker. Does anyone have personal info or comments on red labels?

I've seen some used in 90-95% original condition for around $900. Thought that was a heck of a deal. I shoot way damn to many shells dove hunting, and need to lighten the shoulder damage a bit..

Ouch !!! Well if there weren't so many of the damn things flying around and I could concentrate on a bird instead of 20, it might be easier. I also must mention most of those shots i'm providing backup for others ....

While I prefer brownings for over/under because the red label is a little heavy (12 gauge),they are strong,well balances shotguns. There's not a thing wrong with them and built like most rugers,designed/built well.
