In 30-30 win 14" barrel topped with a 2x leupold loaded with 125gn moly tipped spire point boat tail, one nasty hole maker!

I had almost same exact setup but I rechambered mine to 30-30 ackley improved and used leupold vari-x 3 in 2.5x-8x. Load was healthy charge of IMR 3031 topped with nosler 125 gr ballistic tip. Hitting a whitetail,groundhog,or yote with that combo was like striking them with hammer of thor and was the ultimate hunting handgun until the encore came out. I now have encore in 7mm08. Still miss that old contender tho.
