| Lake Buchanan Guide Report Water murky to clear; 77 degrees; 1014': Largemouth are good as 'power fishing' has picked up along points, boat docks and channel breaklines in 3' - 12' of water using white Terminator buzzbaits, Bleeding Shad Rat-L-Traps, topwaters like a JDC Skip-N-Pop, and Texas rigged green-pumpkin Whacky Sticks. Stripers are fair to good but improving in 25'-30' drifting live bait or casting 3" Spoiler Shads and vertically jigging Pirk Minnows through surfacing schools. Crappie are fair over brushpiles in 8'-15' on minnows. For info. or to book a guided trip for largemouth or stripers contact JR's Guide Service (www.jrguideservice.com).
