| Canyon Lake Guide Report Canyon Lake; Water clear; 59 degrees; 906.96' (3' low) Largemouth are good from 2-5 pounds in standing timber 6-10 feet deep pitching 3/16 oz. black-red Terminator finesse jigs, crawfish Whacky Sticks and 4 inch pumpkin Ring Worms. Smallmouth are very good to 4 pounds around rockpiles on points and along ledges in 3-12 feet on Smokin' Green Devil's Tongues, smoke 4 inch JDC Drop Shot worms and 4 inch JDC Drop Shot worms on jigheads. Stripers are improving in open water over 30-50 feet using 3 inch pearl Spoiler Shads, Albino Snap Back soft jerkbait rigged on a RED 3/0 Bait Jerker Hook from Falcon Lures and Pirk Minnows during surface activity.
