| Canyon Lake Guide Report Water gin clear; 60.2 degrees; 906.28' (3.5' low) Largemouth are very good to 10.6 lbs over brushpiles on sloping flats and along transitional areas of bluffs inside of secondary points in 3'-8' using white 3/8 oz. Terminator spinnerbaits, crawfish Rat-L-Traps, Texas rigged grn-pumpkin Heavy Tubes and wacky rigged smoke-copper JDC Gibronis. Smallmouth are very good over rockpiles in 4'-20' on smoke-red Snap Back tubes, 4" smoke-pepper JDC curl tail grubs and all chartreuse Terminator tungsten spinnerbaits. Stripers are fair to good to 30" under birds in 13'-30' jigging 1/4 - 1/2 oz. silver Pirk Minnows, white Spoiler Shads and Snap Back soft jerkbaits rigged on a weighted RED Bait Jerker Hook (Falcon Lures). White Bass are good vertically jigging 1/4 oz. silver Pirk Minnows, casting 2 inch Spoiler Shads and trolling Shad Raps. Crappie are fair at the crappie pier on minnows.
