| Canyon Lake Guide Report Water clear; 67 degrees; 905.93': Largemouth are good along sloping gravel flats in 3'-12' of water using crawfish Rat-L-Traps, Skip-N-Pop topwaters, wacky rigged white Whacky Sticks, smoke-red flake Snap Back tubes and Daiquiri Dog Bones. Smallmouth are very good early and all day under cloud cover over rockpiles from 5'- 15' deep on smoke-red Snap Back tubes, JDC 3 inch Craws and Pumpkin Devil's Tongues on drop shots. Stripers are slow to fair jigging 1/2 oz. Pirk Minnows, swimming Spoiler Shads and trolling. White Bass are good on chartreuse or white grubs, small Terminator In-Line spinners and 1/8 oz. Tiny Traps. Crappie are good on minnows at Cranes Mill fishing Pier.
