| Lake Buchanan Guide Report Lake Buchanan: Water clear; 50 degrees; 1020' : Largemouth are good to 5 lbs in 10'-20 feet along main and secondary creek points using Texas rigged blue flake Snap Back creature baits; 6" watermelon-chartreuse Big Pigs and black-brown 3/16 oz. Terminator finesse jigs (www.terminatorlures.com) w/ #11 Uncle Josh pork trailers (www.unclejosh.com). Stripers are very good from The Willows to Paradise in 25'-40' along the river channel trolling white/blue 1/2 oz. Hyper Striper jigs (www.kgenterprise.com) w/ white trailers, jigging 1/2 oz. silver Pirk Minnows and tight-lining live bait. White Bass are improving in open water along creek points in 30' jigging Pirk Minnows, Pearl Blade Runners (www.lakevielures.com) & chrome Tiny Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com). Crappie fair to 12" on the crappie dock at Hi-Line Resort using white Curb's 1/32 oz. crappie jigs and live minnows.
