| Canyon Lake Guide Report Canyon Lake: Water clear; 54 degrees; 909' : Largemouth are good along mainlake points in 10'-20' of water using smoke-red Snap Back (www.terminatorlures.com) tubes, #46 Rat-L-Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com) and smoke 3" curl tail grubs. Upriver, bass are good to 5 lbs. swimming a white 1/4 oz. Terminator jig w/ #11 Uncle Josh (www.unclejosh.com) pork trailer thru brushpiles and submerged trees, Texas rigged watermelon-red Big Pigs (www.cremelure.com). Smallmouth are very good over rock piles in 8'-15' on all chartreuse New Stainless 3/8 oz. Terminator spinnerbaits, pumpkin-chartreuse Wacky Sticks and Sliding Weight Craw Fish (www.slidingweight.com). Stripers are fair in 40'-50' along ledges burning 1/2 oz. white/gray Hyper Striper jigs (www.kgenterprise.com) with trailers and jigging 1/4 oz. silver Pirk Minnows.
