| Our guide trip today was w/2 GI's stationed at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio. First of all, I want to say thanks to Kevin Smelly & his buddy, not for fishing with me but rather for doing such an incredible job protecting out country. The guys had a great time today catching over 30 whites in the 12"-14" class. The majority were released. The guys kept only enough for one good fish fry, but had the experience of catching and releasing several respectable largemouth and a big 'ole fat Guadalupe. Silver, chartreuse and clown 1/4 oz. Pirk Minnows accounted for all of the white. The largemouth came on smoke grubs and suspending Rogues. Thanks again guys. JF
