Lake LBJ Guide Report

Water stained; 57 degrees; 8224.63':

Largemouth are really good on sloping creek points on Texas Red Terminator
stainless series spinnerbaits (www.terminatorlures.com) 1/4 oz. # 46 Rat-L-Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com) and Texas rigged weightless black-blue Wacky Sticks (www.cremelure.com).

White Bass are good under birds in channels in the main lake and rivers
vertically jigging Pirk Minnows, chrome Tiny Traps and Spoiler Shads
swim baits.

Crappie are fair under docks on Curb's crappie jigs and live minnows.

Lake Buchanan Guide Report

Water clear; 55 degrees; 1019.84' :

Largemouth are good to over 5 lbs. in 5'-15' dead-sticking bubblegum
Snap Back soft jerkbaits (www.terminatorlures.com), 1/4 oz. crawfish
Rat-L-Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com), pitching watermelon-red Craw
Tubes (www.cremelure.com) and working suspending Rogues on
steep points.

Stripers are good from The Willows uplake in 30' trolling 1/2 oz. Hyper Striper jigs with trailers, throwing large diving shad-imitators, white bucktials
or chrome Spin Traps to surfacing schools.

White Bass are fair to good staging just inside the mouth of large
creeks and the main river channel below Mud Island using 2" Spoiler
Shad (www.cremelure.com) swim baits, Tiny Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com)
and white Road Runners.

Crappie are fair to good under baited docks and brushpiles on white or
chartreuse Curbs crappie jigs and live minnows.

Canyon & Upper Guadalupe River Guide Report

Water clear; 60 degrees; 909.54' :

Largemouth are very good to 10 lbs in 5'-18' (and shallower) along and
above breaklines of sloping points using pumpkin-chartreuse Snap Back
(www.terminatorlures.com) lizards, crawfish Rat-L-Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com) and Texas rigged pumpkin plastic stickbaits like 5" Whaky Sticks
(www.cremelure.com). Upriver, bass are consistently good to over 5 lbs.
working stumps and laydowns in 2'-6' on flats of channel turns with a
all red Terminator (new series of stainless) spinnerbaits, watermelon-red
Snap Back soft jerkbaits rigged on a 5/0 Bait Jerker Hook by Falcon Lures
(www.falconlures.com) and pitching crawfish colored Craw Tubes
(www.cremelure.com).

Smallmouth are good to 5 lbs. on crawfish tubes, pumpkin Sliding
Weight (www.slidingweight.com) craw fish and rootbeer-green curl tail grubs.
Stripers fair to good along channel breaklines in 35' vertically jigging
1/2 silver Pirk Minnows, 3" Spoiler Shads and white bucktails with
grub trailers.

White Bass are very good staging for the spawning run in 25'-40'
on 1/4 oz. silver Pirk Minnows, 2" Spoiler Shads and Blade Runners
(www.lakeviewlures.com).

Flathead and Blue Catfish are good to 19 pounds on juglines.
