| Lake Buchanan (TX.) Guide Report Water clear; 61 degrees; 1019.70': Largemouth are good 2'-6' deep in creeks and secondary feeders using white-char. (new stainless) Terminator spinnerbaits, crawfish 1/4 oz. Rat-L-Trap (www.rat-l-trap.com), and grn-pumpkin/char. Whacky Sticks. On bright sunny days, at mid-morning we switch to plastics like watermelon-red Devil's Tongues (www.cremelure.com) on drop shot rigs, pumpkin Snap Back lizards (www.terminatorlures.com) and watermelon-red Craw Tubes (www.cremelure.com) fished closer to initial breaklines in feeder creeks. Stripers are very good in 30' from the Willows to Mud Island trolling white-chartreuse Hyper Striper jigs (www.kgenterprise.com), jigging 1/2 oz. silver Pirk Minnows and white bucktails with grub trailers. White bass are good in 14'-28' along creek points and up the main channel on 1/4 oz. Pirk Minnows, 3" Spoiler Shads (www.cremelure.com) and 1/4 oz. pearl Blade Runners.
