| Canyon Lake & Upper Guadalupe River Guide Report Water clear; 65 degrees; 908.78' Largemouth are very good to 7 lbs in 3'-8' on flats using pumpkin-chart. Snap Back (www.terminatorlures.com) lizards, green-pumpkin Whacky Sticks (www.cremelures.com) and 1/4 oz. Rat-L-Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com) Upriver, bass are working shallow and holding on beds in 3'-5'. The same lures as above are the most effective, along with a wacky rigged grape Scoundrel worm on a 3/0 "K" Wacky Hook from (www.falconlures.com). Smallmouth are good in 6'-20' on smoke-red Snap Back tubes and rootbeer-green flake 3" curl tail worms. Stripers are slow to fair along ledges and channel breaklines. White Bass are good on 2" pearl Spoiler Shads, pearl Blade Runners (www.lakeviewlures.com) and small grubs. Crappie are improving over brushpiles in 6'-15' on live minnows and chartreuse Tube Lures.
