| Canyon Lake & Upper Guadalupe River Guide Report Water gin clear; 67-69 degrees; 910.16': Largemouth are good in 6'-12' along breaklines of flats using 1/4 oz. white Terminator spinnerbaits, 1/4 oz. Bleeding Shiner Rat-L-Traps and pumpkin-chartreuse Whacky Sticks. Upriver, bass to 5 lbs are good pitching green-pumpkin Snap Back creature baits, pumpkin 4" Ring Worms and working Skip-N-Pop topwaters (www.jdcbaits.com) along flats on channel turns. Smallmouth are fair to good on ledges and over rock piles in 12'-25' on drop shot pumpkin Devil's Tongues, smoke-red Snap Back Tubes and rootbeer 3" grubs. Stripers are fair at night under lights using live bait. White Bass are fair to good early on Spoiler Shads (www.cremelure.com), Blade Runners (www.lakeviewlures.com)and at night under lights on live minnows, Crappie are good in 8'-10' on minnows, 1/16 oz. Tube Jigs and Curb's crappie jigs.
