lane Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Posts: 3	Chopaka Fishing? I know it is late in the year to hit this lake, but reading around, I have seen good reports from mid July in years past. I have also heard that the bass have hit the smaller Trout pretty hard and that the lake is in decline if not needing serious help. One report I read is that it is not worth the trip. I just returned from Port Townsend Angler, our local fly shop and talked to a local who claimed a friend returned from there last week and saw tons of big fish and landed a couple on leech patterns. I am a little perplexed about the wildly varying reports. So, while traveling in the area, should I try this lake? Thanks Lane
