Sauk high, Stilly fine.

Hit up the Sauk and the Stilly today.
Hit the Sauk up at Clear Creek, White Chuck, and also at Bedal. The water was pretty high with little to no rock banks in many places. I did manage to hook an 8 inch rainbow up near Bedal. The water was just high (and cold for wet wading).

After a few hours on the Sauk, we decided to try the Stilly and had a lot more success. The river temperatures seemed high and the fish were active. I ended up catching 9 bows about 8-12 inch range. My buddy was right behind me (even though it only his 5th time fly fishing) and caught about 5 or 6. Good fishing.

Great day to be out, White Horse Mountain (along with Glacier Peak and many others) was (were) absolutely beautiful today.
