So in the very near future I will be purchasing some sort of tool to increase the utility of the fresh waters close to home (mostly lakes). In short my search has leaded me to two options, a float tube, or a pontoon boat. Other than the somewhat modest difference in price, can someone fill me in on the different uses of these products? It would appear that a pontoon boat would be most desirable as it is literally a very small boat. However, perhaps there is some advantage to the humble float tube that I may have overseen? Please, a thorough analysis of the different usages of the two is in order... Thanks Marc
