| BC fishing trip help My wife and I are going on a road trip with my parents towards the end of July up to BC. Plan to do some sightseeing and fishing. Both my parents are beginner level fly fishers and I'd love to find some streams that they could get into some trout or char on. We're not going east to the Rockies, we're pretty much sticking to Vancouver Island and the mainland area (Vancouver, Whistler, Sea to Sky hwy, Hope, etc). The only info I'm really finding online is for steelhead and salmon fishing but they're not outfitted for that (5/6 wts) ...unless they're pinks. If it was May or June I'd be at Kamloops fishing still waters but end of July is pretty late to be hitting the still waters and it will be really hot. I've only found some info on some Vancouver Island streams and some squeamish tribes. So any info would be really appreciated. You can PM me if you would like. Thanks Lane |
