I would love to create one for you if you would like to moderate it. We just haven't had the demand for one yet unfortunately. If you can get some people to post in an ice fishing forum I will create it and set you up as a moderator and give you all of the resources that I can give you to support the forum.

That goes for anyone else who isn't seeing a forum they might be interested in.

Hello! I just signed up and look forward to hearing from you all. I second the ice fishing comment. What a sport! I live in Tonganoxie in NE Kansas so we don't always get alot of ice but I spend some time each year up north ice fishing and living in my pickup. Ice might come early this year around here as it is colder than usual. Any reports yet?

Also, Shortbus, if you need help getting an ice fishing forum (or any other fishing forum) going I'll help any way I can.

I don't know if I have the time to be a moderator. I visit a few different fishing forums besides this one. Some of the forums won't let you post things unless they are one of the website sponsors. So you have to go about it in a round-a-bout way. How much work is it really?

I've never been ice-fishing but always had an urge to go.

Here in Oklahoma the closest thing to ice-fishing for us is when are fishing for an adult beverage out of the ice chest

jbird68, it's super easy. Just promote discussion in the forum and delete spam, porn, racist remarks, hate, etc. That's it.

I grew up ice fishing in Michigan but when I got old enough to know better, I headed south! Although I have to admit, a nice heated ice shanty was a good place to spend the afternoon in January.....filleting frozen perch was a bit challenging though.
